Giving back and caring
Ventrica is deeply committed to various community and charity initiatives. We believe in helping others and supporting our colleagues every single day.

Giving back, together
At Ventrica, we’re proud to support causes that reflect our values of trust, passion, and boldness.
Led by our People’s Champions, our team takes action – raising funds, volunteering time, and partnering with local and national charities. These initiatives strengthen our culture, unite our people, and make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

We select an annual charity of the year
Annually our “People’s Champion’s”, a representative group of staff from across the business will conduct a company-wide vote on a charity we will give our full and exclusive support to each year. This allows colleagues across the globe to both propose the lobby for a specific charity which is close to their heart.

Mental health first aiders
Mental health first aiders at Ventrica provide vital support, fostering a healthier workplace by reducing stigma, offering early intervention, and promoting well-being. They enhance employee resilience, reduce absenteeism, and boost productivity. In the broader community, they create a culture of awareness, ensuring timely assistance, stronger connections, and overall mental well-being.

The Niall Stringer Foundation
Our charity of the year 24/25 is the Niall Stringer Foundation. The charity was set up in memory of a beloved young Southend rugby player who took his own life shortly before his 18th birthday.
Their sole mission is to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and well-being and give sports clubs, at all levels, across the UK the tools to allow them to contribute positively to the prevention of suicide in young people.

Ventri-million makers
A group of colleagues at Ventrica, better known as “Team Vent-rillion Makers” have engaged in a series of activities this year, as part of fundraising efforts for the Million Makers challenge enabling The King’s Trust to support disadvantaged young people into education, employment or enterprise. From a “royal-themed” sponsored walk through to the Vent-rillion steps challenge, Team Ventrica has shown poise, innovation and purpose in its fundraising

Ventrica champions LGBTQ+
LGBTQ+ champions at Ventrica foster an inclusive, supportive workplace by advocating for equality, educating colleagues, and promoting diversity. They help create a safe space, boosting morale, retention, and productivity. In the broader community, they drive awareness, challenge discrimination, and encourage acceptance, fostering a culture of respect and belonging for all.
